Cinebody has a tool that allows you to see how much available storage a filmer has on their phone. Watch the video below to see how you can access this tool then, read the instructions below to understand why this will be helpful.
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Navigate to the desired project. You may be a part of one or many.
- Find the desired user in the 'clips' tab, identified by a 'grid' icon. You can select a user one of two ways:
- The first way is to click the 'team' filter and search for the desired user.
- The second way (shown in the video) is to click the name/photo in the top-left corner of a clip's thumbnail.
- When you select a user, a gray information bar will appear above the clips. This will communicate an array of information about the selected user.
- On the right side of this bar, you'll see the available storage on this user's device as of the last time they used the Cinebody app.
Why is this Important? As a fail-safe, Cinebody must save a copy of every clip filmed in-app to the flimer's native camera roll BEFORE uploading it to the platform. This means that the app will not allow a user to film unless they have adequate storage available on their device. If a user complains about the app stopping recordings on its own, it is likely due to inadequate storage.
